Kitchen table fits the bill......I'm at the age, when we (mostly the wife) have "friends" our age over, they sit around the kitchen table
and bitch and moan about all their aches and pains, Then go through the never ending list of drugs they take, how the
doctor doesn't listen to them, compare notes on appoint times Bla bla bla ........... so the "kitchen table" fits.
Try to excuse my self when the whiners show up........ get sick and tired of it.
