I've been using a DMI 5310 16 row applicator for years. It doesn't have row cleaners or baskets and doesn't leave as pretty a strip but leaves a taller one that dries out sooner in the spring on ground without much tile. Mine are a little fuzzy with bean stems but row cleaners on the planter got to have something to do to justify their cost. I usually pull it with a Deere 8770 but have used my Deere 8420.
