| Researching 8 row strip till toolbars for applying fall NH3. Plant on 16 rows and have a JD 8410 so thinking 8 row strip till bar. I'm doing about 400 acres a year. WC IL, mostly flat but a few side hills, will be stripping into bean stubble only.
Brands to consider? So far I've looked online at Case 955 and 5310, Unverferth has a "raptor", Krause as a "gladiator". I'm not sure what else is out there.
Pull type or 3 point? Seems with an 8 row I'd be limited on anything that flexes although it looks like some manufacturers make a folding 8 row 3 point bar but I haven't come across any folding 8 row pull type....just not sure if those are set up to be able to flex in the field.
Interested in anyone's recommendations.
