Both the Democratic and Republican parties are a cesspool of corruption.  Neither party is interested in what is best for our country.  Their only interest is perpetuating the funneling of money to special interests who, in turn, fill the coffers of both parties.  

Money buys power which leads to corruption.  You have to have the support of one party or the other to get elected. To get that support you do what they say.  As Ross Perot said, it's simple.  As proof, how many independents have won national elections in recent years?   

As long as we have the present political system nothing will change until it implodes.  

Believe it or not I am pretty much an optimist but I am also a realist.  Look at the facts and make an objective decision.  The downward spiral will continue.
