| I was at an auction one time trying to buy a cheap tractor to put on an auger.It went for way more than I thought it was worth,but the rusted out hulk next to it that didn't run went for even more.It turned out it was the first of the model off the line and had a number 1 serial number.All they had to do was to replace 75% of the tractor to have a collectible tractor
I see some of the car shows on tv where they rebuild engine,transmission body and interior then gush how it feels original,just don't get it,,,a friend has a good sideline buying cars that are half restored and the owner ran out of time,interest,money for a few bucks then finishing and reselling them | |
