| We have the exact same Crysteel Lo-Boy hoist. Based on how it has performed over the years, I have no doubt that the hoist is more than capable for that application.

I can't tell for sure, but the Williams' pump manual suggests that there are a couple of pressure reliefs that could causing the problems. I suggest downloading that manual to identify your pump and directional control valve. Some valves show a relief cartridge inside them, which could be the source of the problem.
