We had an apple pie in the oven with a cookie pan on the rack below, the pie juice ran over the pie tin and spilled onto the cookie sheet where it burned into place.
Now that spill is a black solid.
I tried oven cleaner and nothing happened.
What is the pan make of? I generally soak them in the sink with dawn over night and then take a stiff bristle brush to them. Usually comes right off. I, personally, have NEVER used oven cleaner.
