Personally I wouldn’t worry about it spreading
My order buyer is instructed to not buy cattle with bad ringworm.
Back when I was feeding steens you could look out over the pen and the cattle with ringworm would be showing less flesh.
Chicken or the egg question, Do they have the ringworm because of a nutritional deficiency or other systemic issue or are they poorer doers because they have the fungal (ringworm) infection , but I would not buy cattle with ring worm either unless they were real cheap MAYBE, probably not even then |
