| Direct, That’s the type of question that if you get wrong people will remember what a fool you were forever. For you, will say this much. From here Febs and Aprils job will be to try get back to contract highs. If they do make that watch to see if the Slow Stochastic confirms the move higher. (Go by the Weekly Chart). If the Slow Stochastic doesn’t give confirmation of the move higher by making new highs along with price the party is about over. That’s what I would watch for. In general, higher from here then sideways building a top. Any price around contract highs the cow man/yearling guy should probably lighten up. The concern for the cattle market isn’t the cattle market. The stock market is in the process of being rescued and should rally from now until late winter /early spring. IMO when that (artificial) rally is over and heads lower it will drag the cattle market with it regardless of the fundamentals. | |
