1996 was one of the first years I had my own money in this game. 1998 and 99 were a rude awakening after all the talk about a "new plateau" for grain prices. Thank God input prices didn't quite go for the stupid spiral then that they did after the 2008 bull market. If I have learned one thing it is never say never, never is a loooong time.
