Subject: RE: Dielectric grease use?

Michigan
I was told by our Deere tech to be very careful in using it on things like canbus harnesses that are carrying low volatage low amp signals. Slather it on things like trailer plugs and headlight harnesses all you want.

I probably use it more than I should and apply it heavier than I should. I did run into an issue with an autosteer cable that could have been due to my excessive use of dielectric grease. Over the years I have had a lot more issues with corrosion in connectors without grease than bad connections due to some grease.
