Use it to seal the boot. Do not use it on the pins. For example, it is an excellent sealant for spark plug boots, but it will reduce the conductivity of terminal connections.

It WILL NOT increase conductivity unless it is special formulated for conductivity- which almost all dielectric grease is not. Think about it- If it were conductive, your entire plug would short across every pin when slobbered everywhere.
