I don’t know Ed, he’s probably a good guy. I gather he’s retired from farming and spends a lot of time traveling, that’s great. And I don’t knock EV’s, they are going to be part of our future.

Like many though, I don’t like the politics of how they are being forced upon us and whether intentional or not, Ed’s posts hit a nerve with a lot of people. And yes, I don’t like the EV bashing going on here either, but a lot of that wouldn’t be occurring if people would stop trying to impress others about them on an Ag forum in the first place.

I’ve got several hobbies also including motorcycles, antiques cars, diesel trucks, RC’s, drones, trains, slot machine repair, power generation, guns & reloading, electronics, home building, HVAC, Civil & Mechanical Engineering, just to name a few. I’m guilty of it myself, but I try not to post any of that on here out of respect for others unless I can relate it in some way to a discussion going on. Rather, I’m on several other forums where those discussions are welcome. If I were to post Ag stuff on any of those other forums though, I’d be reminded what the forum was about and the post would be deleted.
