NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | Thanks for bringing me down memory lane. I can remember dad picking corn with a two row picker. His goal was to be done by Thanksgiving, brrrrr on an open tractor.
My very first combine was a 4400 with a 30” 3 row corn head.
Those were the good ole days but I sure wouldn’t want to farm like that again. I’d be retired by now if I had to farm like that again. My dad and grandpa definitely farmed harder then I do now.
