I have beans like that too. Gonna get started this weekend. Another question is where does everyone set the straw chopper. Keep it tight like normal or open it up to not chop up too much green and just get it out of the combine as quick as possible?
Depends what your tillage plans are. If you plan on disking, or a soil finisher, maybe you can back off some. Field cultivator, chop them into dust or next spring you will be cussing. |
