Jim, I think Obomas announcements on curbing trading by banks is just window dressing. That very trading is what the banks are using to dig themselves out of their balance sheet deficit. The problem is that the deficit grows as commercial and residential real estate prices fall and credit card write offs and foreclosures increase.
