SW Ohio | Here I would definitely move the 60 units from the spray pass to the sidedress. We struggle to keep enough nitrogen late in the season a lot of years lately so moving it later is beneficial.
Also I think the broadcast spray has a pretty high chance of loss.
I have started putting 50 units on with the planter then sidedressing another 100-150 units with a Coulter applicator.
I was really glad to be getting the nitrogen down in the ground when it didn't rain for a month at sidedress time | |
