Lots of grey pieces that a magnet picks up and bronze pieces too. I hear you about quality of rebuilds of your own vs. the remans.
Time is my biggest concern as of right now. Would have been a lot easier decision if it was the last field of the season and not the first.
I may keep the core depending on price and rebuild in the off season to have on hand. Everything is still up in the air at this point. Thanks.
Bronze pieces would make me lean toward it being a wrist pin bushing. Magnetic gray pieces don't really make sense for a wrist pin bushing though. Maybe both ends of a rod are coming apart??
If it's a rod, thankfully it didn't ventilate the block yet!! Could always be worse!
