Thanks for posting all the pictures. We used to have a guy from Finland on NAT that went by "The Traveling Man" but I have not seen anything from him for years.
Your travels and pictures remind me of a quote from Mark Twain.

Thoughtfully powerful quote by American author Mark Twain about the amazing benefits of travel:

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts."


That's very true John. I was coming up with all kinds of reasons to not go, my wife really wanted me to go so that helped. I love traveling and seeing how things are done other places, meeting the people, seeing another way of life. I wouldn't have had an opportunity to stay on a farm in Europe and lightly participate in a harvest for a few days the rest of my life if I didn't go. Have continued talking with those guys ever since our trip to California in February, seeing and staying in their homes just completed it, have friends for life over there now.
