NW South Dakota | I installed one in my Mothers house five years ago or so. It has worked flawlessly. In the summer it cools the house. When winter sets in I flip a switch to shut the heat pump off and it functions like a normal water heater. When running in heat pump mode it will dehumidify the house. I plan to put one in my house as soon my electric water heater craps out.
