Ours is a GE Geospring. Ten years old. When still under warranty code came up. Problem with heat pump and defaults to electric only. No problem, call it in, problem part replaced. About two months later same code, same issue. After the third time I gave up and just run it straight electric. It's flawless that way. I vote go electric.
