Latimer, Iowa (north central) | 3.28 plus freight for off road, Add .57 so 3.85 for hiway. This is on a tanker load or split tanker load, freight is about 5 cents a gallon for us. local station next to the pipeline terminal is 4.39 for hiway.
On the advice of others on here (Thanks coup) we put in 3 large tanks and can store 35,000 gallons of fuel. Filled earlier this summer at 2.39 for off road, 2.96 hiway. Tanks have essentially paid for their cost of install every year since we put them in and double that in the covid year when we filled for 90 cents a gallon. Buying on dips with storage to weather the highs in the market has worked very well. |
