West central Ohio
Always put up wheat silage in the spring, but looking to maximize tonnage. Here, trit will head out about a week earlier than wheat. Does trit behave more like wheat or more like rye after heading? Always wait for the wheat heads to come out as I'm not needing rocket fuel feed. Thoughts?
