Subject: USDA SRW numbers are suspect at best

USA
If the folks at USDA can't even get right how much seed it takes to plant an acre of SRW, how accurate are the rest of their numbers?

USDA says in 09- 10 it took 1.32 bu acre for seed, 08-09 1.42 bu, 07-08 2.4 bu, 06-07 2.19 bu.

06 -09 SRW planted vs harvest acres declined by an average of 1.278 million acres.

USDA projection for 09-10 SRW crop is 1.116 million less harvested acres.
