Subject: Re: corn- panic or hold

Heres some food for thought. With all the snow we have had here in Nebraska an the last 4 days off fog all points a wet spring an late planting date. I remember the years 1982,83,an 84. They were bad winters as well an there were lots off crops planted in to late May in to June off those years. Lots off guys would probably switch to beans if these prices continue in to spring with this situation. Lots off these traders have never experienced a winter like this one. Probably very young an not even born yet. In some off these fields I have never seen so much snow. Probably be snow around clear in to May an we have a lot off winter yet. Wouldnt surpise me to see a corn rally in the spring an in to summer. There is lots off corn moving now an even with out the report the corn would have drifted lower. With lots off wet corn around lots off this will have to be moved by Spring or it wont keep.

Around my neck off the woods there will be a lot more soybeans grown next year instead off corn an with the late spring I think will happen there will be lot more beans going in. I think they will have to buy some acres to prevent to much off this. Factor all this and a hot dry summer could be interesting.
