Seems like after the 1st week of Feb corn traditionally starts to show life again.
Usage to stocks is actually in a 3 year uptrend, so the market may figure out that the 010 crop NEEDS to happen or there simply will not be much corn around at the end of 010 should that new crop not happen as we expect.
Also keep in mind if there is a dry weather impact and yields for 010 are off say 10 to 20 bu per acre from the 09 avg...hmmm could be an eye opener.
Statistically we are due for some dry impact. I expect it this season in the Midwest for 010.
