Southwestern Indiana
How would it affect your crops? Here we’ve gotten between 3-4 inches locally already this month but we were bone dry end of July. Current forecast is for next to no precip the next 2 weeks and starting Saturday highs in the 90s every day. Most corn is at full dent so should be mostly okay on moisture but high temps will likely accelerate maturing. Beans are doing good right now but has a long way to go to finish and I would guess the last 10-15 bpa will depend on getting some more moisture. I’m not calling for a disaster by any means but I don’t think the fat lady has sung for the grain markets just yet.
