Maybe try a very low fiber diet, white bread, white rice, very bland foods, all vegetables well cooked, no raw fruits or veggies. Try eating yogurt if you can tolerate dairy. I was diagnosed about 3 years ago and have finally now reached an almost (most of the time) normal life. Still on Asacol 2 x 2 times per day. Good luck.
