Eastern Nebraska | Colic happens about the same time everyday.... it can be anytime but it will occur in the same time fram each day. It could be the formula needs to be switched. One o fhte sorse things to let them do is to suck on a pacifier or to nurse or drink form a bottle all the time during the colic episode. This is what they would like but it makes the colic worse. Old wives - keep their feet warm..... I had a daughter that you could set the clock by....everyday at 4pm she could be in a dead sleep and would wake suddenly and start crying... When it starets swaddle tightly in a baby blanket. Used to run the vacuum and hold her.... the vibrations helped ot settle things down in her tummy. Also worked to run the dishwasher and set her in her infant seat on top of it, run the dryer. The vibrations of things such as driving around in the car seem to help. They do outgrow it .... just seems like it takes forever to get there... I owuld suggest also a snugglie carrier if you do not already have one.... Congratulations on hte new baby... | |
