Southern Ab | It’s been 3 years since I had the surgery. There were some complications but the vast majority of these surgeries happen with no issues at all. I had an aggressive cancer and with COVID delays it just got out of hand.
I had a bleeder so lots of troubles. Whenever I tried to walk I’d spurt blood out the drains and got hustled back in to bed. So of course I got pneumonia. That just about did me in. Catheter for 3 weeks. I still wear a pad but really it’s just a thin little wedge to catch any drips. I don’t think I’d wet my jeans in the front. More for hygiene. With a pad you need tight fitting underwear. 12% spandex does the trick. Don’t fall for the marketing that says ball pouch underwear is best. Sex is still ok. No viagra.
I had surgery June 1st. The whole neighborhood was wanting to harvest my crops but I got it done myself.
I lost 20 pounds and a lot of muscle. I’ve gained 10 pounds back but I really have to work at it.
