I can get poison ivy just by looking at it through the truck window. (not really, but close) Since both of you seem allergic to it, I wouldnt use it for firewood. Not worth the trouble. Stay out of the smoke and be very carefull when doing his laundry, you can get it from handling his clothes or the steam from the water. Good luck
