My oldest son gets Poison Ivy really easily. He has a lot of allergy problems. He doesn't even have to touch the stuff to get it. We use Ivy Dry, but if it is bad enough, he has to go to the DR for a steriod shot. Bad part about that is steroid shots cause him to break out into a rash which then we have to deal with that. If the PI is bad enough, the steroid shots are the only thing that we have found that will help with the PI. Since he is an avid hunter, we just have to be extra careful when we go out to the timber. There are some areas that we just don't hunt because of a high concetration of PI. I have to be careful around it as well, not because I may get it, ( I could roll around in it and never have a reaction) but if it gets on my clothes and I come in the house, it is assured that he will get it.
