I was told by a tire man years ago that the manufacturers have taken the carbon out of tires and carbon is what made them resistant to uv rays,, have you seen how tires from back in the early days would still be somewhat useable after 20+ years on an old implement? Hard as a rock but not all weather cracked like tires do now in only a few years,,,
