The stories of the Ford and GM trucks being parked everywhere possible waiting on chips is well known. Then parts being stolen from them and then crushed. Have not been to Louisville or Fort Wayne recently to know if they are still there. Have also checked on one ton trucks from all three sources and have been told at least 3 to 6 months. 100K is not that many miles, keep it. That is what I will be doing. Older ones will be much better for many reasons. Most of the whistles and bell that seem to be so popular can be added if that important.
I ordered a GMC one ton, goose neck/5th wheel package, crew cab & long box Jan 20th, got built first week of April, delivered to dealer April 30th. It's a 2024 model. Buddy ordered a 3/4 ton, WT double cab, long box version about same time, his (red one) was delivered same time and sitting next to mine gray one in dealer parking lot.
