30 + years ago it was $24-25 @ ton to swath and rake and bale ton bales. That didn't get any hay hauled for that price. I know during that time I paid $3 @ ton to have it loaded in feild and drove to my stack yard a mile away. That was the era of of fifty cent gallon farm fuel.
