$17 per acre to mow
$12 per acre to tedd
$12 per acre to rake
$16 per 4X5 bale with net at a minimum of $720 an hour.
More if small rough fields. Maybe a little less for a good neighbor, big smooth field.

Where did the $720/hr come from? Should not need tedding at that production level, but need to have a per hour minimum for baling to cover the tractor, baler and your time, esp. if field is not smooth. |
