Subject: You guys are preaching to the choir..

I have a long history of supporting Market based policy solutions... we have in effect transferred supports from farmers to the conversion of energy... and no we still don't compare to what the conventional energy sources receive... where there is now a two-for one that not only benefits the production of grain but also the lowering of an alternative energy to the consumer.

I believe these supports can be reduced over time as the REAL COST of Conventional energy rises.. say over the next decade or two.

If ALL SUPPORTS would be eliminated today.. grain production would crash.. and the REAL COSTS of PRODUCTION would rise... Livestock would notice this I promise you.

Answer me this... WHY is wheat production falling with pretty good historical Average Prices (no subsidy mind you...) forecast by USDA of $4.75 to $5.00????? Wheat acres are down 4.1 million acres from last year.....

If the cash economics are so GREAT why is this happening?
