I have a 7230 magnum and low flow needs are an issue with PFC. Easy and the “right” fix in my opinion is a regulated bypass. Ran a vrd for years that way. Upgraded to a vac meter and have to put one on again for the vac system.

Poor man’s way is 2 simple tees and an adjustable valve inbetween inlet and outlet.

Seems like when the flow rate is low the “older” gens would “chatter”. Need to bleed a little off to help the flow.
