Wasn't wanting confuse the topuics but the 4640 runs it fine now-has for years on my current 16 row. I have problems with 8300 and low flow surging, etc. Long story but I have spent several years and more than cost of one of the PTO setups trying to fix 8300-Deere not been able to fix-so thus the PTO pump.

before I would mess with a PTO pump
I would just add a "regulated bypass"

waste some flow till it was happy

add a temp gauge so the coffee shop guys don't have a reason to Argue
