If you're reporting based on bin measurements, you'd better be taking test weight and converting the corn in that bin back to the standardized 56 lbs. That's how it's supposed to be done.

I have no idea how the USDA surveys are actually done, but I imagine they have addressed the situation. To me, it seems a lot like people grasping at straws as the weight of the corn crop starts to break the back of prices.
