| exactly southernmnman, how do people think test weight dont effect bushels? for instance we haul in 70000 lbs of corn on are semi, divide that by 48 lbs (Are average) equals 1458 bu. now divide 70000 by 56 lbs = 1250 bu.(what we get paid for) so if are corn was 56 lbs we should be getting 208 more bushels on a truck and more bushels an acre, 208 bu times 3.80= $790 a load adds up quick, and think about your combine hopper 200 bu. hopper isnt 200 bu. this year was it, | |
