northern MN | I have the utmost respect for SC, I want to say that up front. I do not trade commodity's as I cannot separate my emotions from trade's I have made. The few times I have traded if I would have held on a little longer the trade would have made my expectations. But I have worked to hard for what I have to blow it. I try not to gamble outside of ag. Now, I do a pretty good job of marketing expected production as emotions do not seem to come into play. When I sell physical grain it seem logical to do the things I do. All this to say I value the traders opinions here even though frequently I don't know what the h&ll there talking about. BUT I know for a fact that USDA has manipulated estimate numbers for a particular industry to either influence the market or punish an industry. We never were 100% certain what the endgame was. | |
