What is it that they forgot? If it is more bearish news then I would hope their amnesia lasts. I agree with your other statments, but the cure for high prices is always high prices--produce into poverty. Also, farmers are to independant to bond together--never seems to happen. The thought is always "if my neighbor cuts back I will plant more to capture higher prices. That line of thought is why we get into the shape we find ourselves in.
