I use Lemi-shine in every load of dishes.  It really helps get the food off, and also leaves no spots or streaks.  However, it IS tough on glasses. If you have glasses that have a printed design on them, the design will eventually fade.  I'm also very careful about putting metal pans in.  Aluminum will turn dark with LemiShine in the load.  Copper will be brightened and shiny tho.

Look for LemiShine with the dish detergent and additives.  It usually costs less than $4 for a bottle.

(LemiShine is used in addition to, not in place of soap.)
