WC KS
The NASS is a source for USDA numbers. Years ago My farm got picked as random for couple of years. THE picked areas of that one farm to be random. NOT complete Fields. That was at a time when field shapes and rotation was changing. I told then it made CENTS or sense. This was done to double check findings on the main report.

Now, I grow a specialty crop -Pinto beans. That is good for three times a year. planting intentions, Growing and harvest. There are only 5-7,000 acres growing in KS. Talk about zooming in.

I got a 10 page USDA NASS due Dec 1 survey sitting warming up. IT is 12 pages in length. At the BOTTOM it has paper work reduction notice.

Because I never filled it out, it is probably why some numbers are so screwy. I Am sorry.

If you feel left out the survey is voluntary [not like census], I am sure you could volunteer to fill out forms
