swmn/soin | Had a friend from Davenport Iowa tell me today about the issue of lost corn yields that resulted from corn left in the field over winter. It was that the average yield loss was 28%....this was from an ongoing study from one of the universities in Illinois.
Just curious how many acres of unharvested corn there is yet and how does that translate in bushels lost?
Would appreciate any and all input. Maybe you have some idea on this Senior Citizen...others????
