djmcountryboy, as I mentioned in the USDA post below, you have had some good calls in the market direction the past months.

I sold a lot of corn for 2010, but not as much of 2009, as the basis has been tough here. (And the market orders did not hit over the holidays.) (But as you mention there will be more rallies & volatility, and just be ready next time.)

The part about the USDA report I do not like is: With more than a normal amount of corn to be harvested yet, (For this time of year) they put in a record number. Would it not be better to stay around 12.7 to 12.9 bbu until we know? (Instead we are going to resurvey, just like they did last summer!) I think we where both upset about that!

This is where I think USDA is getting some of the wrath...
