I am not going to argue that we likely have the most accurate reporting system in the world, but that does not mean that manipulation cannot occur. With what transpires daily in this messed up government and economy, I can't believe that anyone would be naive enough to think that the USDA is immune from corruption. It's obvious that they did not feel good about the accuracy of their numbers, hence the disclaimer that adjustments might be made during the March report. It is very rare that they include this warning. I stand by my original opinion that this morning's report was not accurate.
