Damned USDA and their educated reports. Just imagine what the market prices would be today if we would limit board of trade action to the actual bushels on hand. No more buying and selling something that does not exist.
2010 Hard Red Winter Wheat does not exist, I can look out the window and see the crop but it is along way from grain. Same way with 2010 corn it does not exist yet you can buy and sell it. There are millions of bushels of grain traded today that are only paper, those bushels do not exist. If you buy gold there is the actual thing there. Grain should be traded the same way. | |
