Be aware that you don't just "get" your local live channels with a streaming service. I have Netflix, Disney, Hulu, ESPN+, Paramount Plus, HBO Max, Peacock, and Amazon Prime. I don't have the premium of Paramount or Peacock, (CBS and NBC) so no local channels with those. Costs me about 700 bucks/year give or take anyway. YoutubeTV would give you your live locals, and that would be $73 per month. We kept basic DirecTv for locals and basic stuff. Wife said if I wanted streaming packages, I would foot the bill myself for those! We don't have kids, so no activities to chase them around to, don't go out, so tv is our activity for the night. (I'm justifying spending that much lol)
Anyways, it's not as simple as it's made out to be if you want everything you have now. It can be done, but you'll probably have more than one service and more things to figure out. | |
